Hello parents and students,
My name is Ms. Havens and I will be one of your child's teachers this year. This is my sixth year teaching of which five have been in special education. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I majored in Elementary Education and minored in collaborative education. I am certified to teacher K-6 General Education and K-6 Special Education. After my second year teaching, I began work on my Master's Degree. I completed this degree in Special Education in October of 2009. In January of 2010, I began working on my Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis on Effective Schools. I look forward to getting to know you all throughout the school year.
